The Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Henllanfallteg Community Association
held in the Millennium Hall at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 2nd May 2007
Present were 20 members of the public including Josie Thomas, Eve Edwards, John Spencer, Don Loader, Stella Loader, Mike Calvert, Myrddyn Pynn, Elaine Pynn, Bethan Pynn, Mike Hermitage, Bruce Jackson & Peter Icke
Apologies were received from Dave King
The minutes of the 2006 meeting were received.
The Chairman’s Report was received. Josie reported on a busy year that included the trip to Margam, the Open Gardens, Bank Holiday Walks and the Singalongs.
The Treasurer’s Report was received. Eve reported that the Association had begun the year with £12,344 and closed with £7750. A donation of £1500 and a loan of £1700 had been made to the Playing Field Association and £2472 had been spent on items such as the Side Garden and outside painting.

Thanks Warm thanks were expressed to Josie as retiring chairman, and to Gary and Stella.

21 July Fete. Mr & Mrs John Edwards had offered £100 to sponsor the Morris Dancers.

6 October Musical Drama in Millennium Hall “The Boys are Back”
Bookings Update
A successful French country dance had been held on 14 April.
Hall Maintenance
Mike Hermitage and Mike Calvert offered to organise a session with scaffolding spraying the west wall.
Treasurer’s Report
It was decided to continue with the existing cheque signatories.
It was decided to pay the PVS licence of £88.13.
The auditor’s comments were noted on the need to have a formal agreement in writing with the Playing Field Trustees regarding the loan of £1700.
Other Business
The outside notice board needed relining with a soft material.
The Welcome Pack needed updating. The next Newsletter might welcome new residents and explain how the Newsletter was delivered 3 times a year.
Bruce suggested that the stage could be stored away from the hall and give more room in the storage room.
The meeting closed at 8.01pm
