Minutes of the Henllanfallteg Community Association meeting held on Wednesday 6th December 2006 in the Millennium Hall, Llanfallteg at 7.30pm.

Minutes The November minutes were approved and signed.
Matters arising from the past minutes
There were no more Welsh lessons until the New Year.
Correspondence
The quotation for renewal if the Hall insurance was received and subject to treasurers comments it was agreed that the premium be paid.
Future events
- Choirs. “Whitland Male Voices” and “Cor Undebol Ar ôl Tri” It was hoped that Dave could arrange dates.
- Final arrangements were made for the Bingo night.
- Junior football knockout competition. Request for use of Hall facilities on a Sunday in 2007 for this competition received from Llanfallteg Junior Teams. It was agreed to charge £25 for the day £10 of which would be for extra cleaning.
- Fete Preliminary arrangements in hand and first committee meeting will be in January.
- History Society slide show will be on 17th Jan 2007, local and not so local history.
- History Society - Antiques Road Show to be held in April
Past events feedback
Sound of music was popular and another session would be arranged.
Hall Bookings
Peter Icke showed a suggested format to show where there are spaces on the hall bookings. It was agreed this ought to be on display.
A local group of musicians had sought to hire the hall for a music night. It was agreed that the first night, Tuesday Jan 2nd would be made free, to allow them to decide how they would operate, which nights and such. They will liaise with M Pynn over future nights. It was agreed that they would be changed £5 per session, as set out in the officer’s advice.
Hall improvements maintenance and decoration works.
It was agreed to set another day in January at the January meeting.
Side garden revitalisation
No offers to provide a bench had yet been received. It was decided to investigate costs of a new bench and bring yet further details to the next meeting.
Treasurer’s report
The report was received and the contents noted.
The officer’s report for future hall hiring charges was received and adopted unanimously. The secretary will circulate this to all trustees and have a copy posted in the Hall.
Other Matters
Information. Rubbish collection on Tuesdays had become an issue as the Hall was blamed to the many sacks left out for collection. The problem arises as all those properties at the rear of the Plash are obligated to leave them at the road side, but no one wants them on “their roadside” Community Council are seeking advice from CCC.
