Matters Arising from the Minutes
Electrical Tests A note from Dave King was read reminding the Committee that when the contractor eventually came it was vital that he saw the red book listing the hall electrical details. The Committee agreed in principle to the idea of testing every 3 years which would cost more to start with but would save in the long term.

Hall maintenance and decoration works.
A maintenance day was held on Sunday February 4th. The remaining outside walls were washed down but the red marks needed spraying with hypoclorate. The carpark and surrounds were cleaned. The borders were weeded and trimmed. The hedge (tree tops) in the side garden had been trimmed. Replacement of shrubs was in hand. The skirting in the Ladies’ toilet was repaired and the oven and kitchen cupboards cleaned. There had been no time to make good the wall by the audioviisual cabinet, put up photographs, or replace fluorescent tubes or piano castors.
It was decided to arrange a date for the next Maintenance Day at the March Meeting.
