Minutes of the Henllanfallteg Community Association meeting held on Wednesday 3rd January 2007 in the Millennium Hall, Llanfallteg at 7.30pm.

Minutes  The December minutes were approved and signed.

Matters arising from the past minutes

Peter Icke produced an alternative sheet showing the hall usage. To be put on display.

Insurance was paid by the treasurer.

PCC - Welsh Assembly elections 3rd May – booking request for the hall. Secretary to respond.

Future events                     

Choirs. “Whitland Male Voices” fully booked for 2007. “Cor Undebol Ar ôl Tri”  still awaiting a response.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sing along - Friday 2nd March at 19.00. £1.00 entrance.
Junior football knockout competition.   Date awaited.
Association AGM       May 2nd.
Fete    Preliminary arrangements in hand
History Society slide show will be on 17th Jan 2007, local and not so local history.
History Society - Antiques Road Show to be held in March or April.
Open gardens to be July 1st.
Village Trip – August 5th. Suggestions to be sought on where to go via Newsletter.

Past events feedback

Bingo raised £133 but was poorly attended despite there being excellent prizes.

Treasurer’s report

The report was received and the contents noted.

          Request received from playing Field Trustees to re-instate the loan previously agreed, as the installation costs had increase by virtue of the relocation of equipment and need for new safety surface. The request was agreed, and Park Trustees to arrange with Treasurer issue of the cheque.

Maintenance Day

Feb 4th at 10.00. Main jobs wall pressure washing, hedge cutting at the front, and border clearing if dry.

Indoor work if wet.
