Minutes of Henllanfallteg Community Association held on July 4th 2007 in the Millennium Hall at 7.30 pm

Minutes  The minutes of the June meeting were received and approved.

Matters Arising from the Minutes

Correspondence

Planning application Spring Gardens (see last minutes) No objections.

Stage

On going. Awaiting work in school to be completed.

Future events

Fete  July 21st.  Helpers needed in the Hall. It was agreed to purchase a new large tent. M Pynn to collect.

Village Trip  5th August.  Jones Login bus to book. Josie would hold returnable £5.00

Hall Bookings

4th Aug – Private party provisional.

Past Events

Open gardens was a bit “Soggy”. Raised £104.00

Community meeting – very well attended and a number of controversial issues got aired!

Hall maintenance and decoration works.

Side bench – It was agreed to purchase a Glasdon  Pheonix bench. Treasurer and Secretary to order.

Mike Calvert and Mike Hermitage agreed to sort out next maintenance session – cleaning of the end wall.

Outside stone work painting to be considered for next summer – acquire quotes and place an order over the winter period.

Finance

Report attached

Letter to be sent to Playing Field Trustees confirming conditions of the loan.

It was agreed to appeal against the rates valuation, mainly by comparison with neighbouring halls of similar size.

On line banking will be available shortly.

Other Matters

          It was agreed to place an advert in the fete program this year. £10.00.

There will be no August meeting. Next Meeting September 5th 2007.
