Minutes of Henllanfallteg Community Association held on September 5th 2007 in the Millennium Hall at 7.30 pm

Planning application Spring Gardens – Notice of approval by CCC

Revised rates demand – passed to treasurer – awaiting outcome of appeal.
Stage
On going. Awaiting work in school to be completed and stage required for our October event.

Newsletter closing date will be 22nd September.
Night out evening Sat 6th Oct 19.30. Open from 18.00. When the boys come home, Tickets £4.50 concessions £2.00 Tickets passed around.
Prize Bingo Sat 24th November to finalise.
Boxing day Walk - OK
Grease sing along – Mike Calvert to forward details
Horse race night – March 08 to finalise
Whitland Choir Date to fix sometime in 08 to suit them.
Hall Bookings
Keys cut for the dancers and band.
Key record to be updated
Tent loan (Hire). Our blew away at the Plash garden event. Now with Chris Lawrence. Condition uncertain. Future use – erection should be supervised.
Past Events
Fete was wet but still raised the best ever money largely down to spending out less and money raised by slave auction in the Plash.
Hall maintenance and decoration works.
Side bench – second one to be ordered.
Mike Calvert and Mike Hermitage agreed to sort out next maintenance session – cleaning of the end wall. Hypochlorite purchased and will be done soon.
Outside stone work painting to be considered for next summer – acquire quotes and place an order over the winter period.
Finance
Report attached
Letter to be sent to Playing Field Trustees confirming conditions of the loan.
Rates valuation appeal sent in – will not be looked at until 2008.
On line banking is available.
BEC membership confirmed and receipt received to be passed over to Community Council for reimbursement.
Electricity bill received and paid.
Charity Commissioner information confirmed as being updated.
World Wide Church now have booked 3 Saturdays every month.
