Minutes of the Community Council meeting held in the Millennium Hall, Llanfallteg on Monday 25 June 2007 at 7 pm

Present at the meeting:

1. Apologies for absence – None
2. Declarations of Interest - None
3. Correspondence received – for action
a. CCC Carmarthenshire Local Development plan – draft delivery agreement May 07 – circulation commenced
b. Taf Myrddin Community Network – Thu 28 June – finalized Agenda – forwarded to Gideon Carpenter. It was stated that although local issues had been prepared and put forward to the Community Network they responded that these issues would not be approached or discussed at the meeting. Councillors all agreed that these issues would be challenged at the open meeting.
c. CCC – Directory of Local Bus services and travel guide Issue 8 - to be displayed on Noticeboard
d. North Wales Tourism – Promotional and information literature relating to access, behaviour & protection of the Countryside – displayed at the Community Hall

4. Planning applications – for action
a. W/16483 Part of Rhosddollesgob, Llanfallteg – Outline planning for 3 dwellings
(bungalows) – As this application is outside of the 'Carmarthenshire Unitary
Devlopment Plan development boundary' the Community Council do not
support it
b. W/16417 ‘Noddfa’ Llanfallteg – 2 storey lounge, bedroom and bathroom
extension – no objections raised, all agreed there would be no adverse local
impact and the extension would make a significant improvement to the
building

5. Planning application – to note
a. W/13729 Nant Eos, Llanfallteg – 1 House & 1 Garage – Permission GRANTED
b. W/15013 Penpwll Farm, Clunderwen – Conversion of outbuildings to 2 holiday accommodation units – Permission GRANTED
c. W/14603 Plot next door to 2 Brynderi, Llanfallteg – single detached residential house – Permission GRANTED
d. W/15669 Darlunfa, Cwmfelin Boeth, Whitland – Amend condition 2 of full planning permission Ref. W/12796 – Permission GRANTED
e. W/14923 Dol y Coed, Llanfallteg – Proposed bedroom & living room single storey
extension – REFUSED

6. Matters for discussion –
Carmarthen Health Panel 23 May 07 – Following a written update received by all, Clive Mortlock gave a further insight into the meeting.

There then followed a discussion on ROW insurance, traffic calming measures (Gideon Carpenter to telephone A Morgan for an update) and Mrs Colledge’s recent highway complaints. These issues to be brought forward at the next meeting.
