Prize Bingo held in Millennium Hall on Saturday Nov 24th

What a fun night was had by all with £203.50 made on the night.  There was a grand turn out from villagers, near and far, with back-up from visiting friends and family.

Myrddin did a great job of 'Calling' - and didn't he look smart with Dickie Bow to boot.  Eve backed him up as 'Confirmer' and 'Doler out' of prizes.  And what prizes there were too.  Hampers (5), BBQ, Wine, Tin Biscuits, Box Chocs., Socket Set and Silent World (Tenby) Family Ticket to name a few and that's apart from the Raffle Prizes too.

The kids didn't miss out either, apart from their own Bingo cards they had a 'Last Person Standing' game where each child was allocated a number and then had to sit down when their number was called.   The last number was 13 and turned out lucky for Shaun Jackson who won a box of chocies.

A big thank you to Myrddin and of course Josie and crew who did us proud once again by doing most of the organising (what a woman) and of course to all of you who attended and helped make the night so rewarding.

If you missed out this year don't worry because - We'll Be Back in 2008

by Mrs Eve Edwards

The Bingo night was well attended, with ten major prizes including several hampers, a chicken dinner, a barbecue to cook the dinner, and a socket set to assemble the barbecue.
Several of the prizes seemed to be attracted to a particular table. It was a  tense moment when Christy and Aima went head to head over the Chicken dinner, Christy proved victorious but relinquished the spoils to Aima.
A new electrickery number selection device was borrowed on the spur of the moment and made things a lot easier for the caller to look at his crib sheet.

A total of £203.50 was raised, A BIG thank you to those who attended, help set up, made the tea & coffee, procured prizes, the bingo machine, and my second in command who checked all the winning lines.

Cheers Myrddin
