Llanfallteg Memorial Playing Field Association

The AGM of the Association was held at The Plash Inn at 7.30pm on 23rd January 2007

Present were Dave King, Peter Icke, Jeff Beattie, Don Loader
Apologies were received from Christine Young

1     Trustees
      It was confirmed that Myrddin Pynn, Dave King and George Rainbow were starting new five year terms of office.

2     Election of Officers

      Community Association Representative           Dave King

3     Minutes
      The minutes of the last AGM were noted.

4     Matters Arising from the Minutes

  1. -          The playing field was registered with the Land Registry.
  2. -          It was confirmed that the Charity Commissioners were the Custodian Trustees.
  3. -          The Gift Aid Scheme was set up and we were in a position to make claims.

5     Treasurer
      The Treasurer reported that the Association had assets of £7957.44.
      It was noted that  the Association needed to pay bills to Bigfoot totalling £8700 and that approximately £460 was needed for insurance etc.  It was agreed to take up the Community Association’s offer of a loan.

6     New Toddler Area
      The new equipment was in place but the ground needed rolling.  Grass seeding, extra fencing and a gate were required.

7     Wooden Fencing
      The Association were very grateful to Tony & Lynn Hillier for erecting a wooden fence the whole length of the western side of the park.
         
8     Fetes
      Fete 2006 had been a very successful event and had made a record profit of £1636.29.
      For 2007 repairs would be needed to the ducking stool and it was hoped to book the Carreg Las Morris Dancers.

The AGM was followed by a brief Trustees’ Meeting at which all arrangements made at the AGM were confirmed.
